A: We offer various printing methods such as screen printing, digital printing, digital and vinyl transfers, and embroidery. The choice of printing method depends on the garment material, design complexity, and quantity of items being printed.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity for garment printing?
A: The minimum order quantity (MOQ) varies depending on the printing method and garment type. Typically, for screen printing, the minimum order quantity should be around 10-100 or more pieces, while for digital printing, it can be as low as a single piece. Please inquire for more information.
Q: How long does it take to complete an order?
A: The turnaround time depends on the complexity of the design, the quantity of items being printed, and the chosen printing method. Generally, it takes roughly 2 weeks or 10 to 12 business days to complete an order, but rush orders can be accommodated with an additional fee.
Q: What file format do you require for the design?
A: We prefer vector files such as Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or EPS (.eps) for screen printing *all text should be outlined or font files provided*, and high-resolution (300dpi or greater) raster files such as JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) for digital printing. However, we can work with other file formats as well such as photoshop (.PS) TIFF (.tiff) or PDF (.pdf). Files should be saved at the desired print size and pantone color codes should be provide in the file if color matching is inquired. Word docs and powerpoint file are discouraged. *Pictures of a printed shirt is not acceptable.
Q: Do you have photos of printed garments from MBprints?

Q: I want 10 garments printed with my logo. How much does it cost?
A: Unfortunately there is no easy answer for this. The cost depends on many factors. It’s best to send MBprints an inquiry with your logo attached and include all printing information to receive a proper quote. Q: What types of payments do you accept?
A: Most common payment option in Japan is local bank transfer. We do accept credit card payments through paypal for a small service fee of 5%. *Cash On Delivery (COD) is not offered.
Q: Does MBprints offer printing on demand?
A: The short answer is No. We can take orders from a client and ship them to separate locations but the client would need to handle all logistics on their end.

We keep the screens for six(6) month. Any reorder of 10 or more garments of the same print within six(6) months will not need to pay for the screen setup again. Reorders will prolong the screen(s )’ life six(6) months from the reorder date. Screens are reclaimed if no reorder is placed and always stays property of MBprints. - Can I see a proof of my design before it’s printed?
Yes, we usually will provide a digital proof of the design for approval before beginning production depending on if one was already provided by the client. - What is the maximum number of colors that can be used in a screen printed design?
The maximum number of spot colors is 7 but there are a few ways we can print process (CMYK) and simulated process printing to achieve many colors. - Can I order a sample before placing a larger order?
Yes, this will just be considered an order of one and will be priced accordingly . - Are there any restrictions on the type of design that can be screen printed?
Screen printing is generally best suited for designs with solid colors and bold lines. Fine details or complex gradients may not translate well to screen printing. - What is the best way to care for a screen printed garment?

Lower resolution images will print poorly. - Why is there a discolouration or clear film around the print area?
On darker garment or where white is used in the design a pretreatment is applied to the garment to allow the ink to adhere to the substrate. This pretreatment should wash away after the first or second wash leaving the print looking great. *some garment colors can be problematic
